A glimpse into the future

I would like to take today to give everyone a VERY familiar glimpse into where God is leading Emily and I in the coming year.

Everyone reading this has been affected by the 2008 Beijing Olymics.

One of the biggest stories coming out of this year’s Olympics is USA swimmer Michael Phelps.

This dude is totally off the chain.  As I write this, he has already won 5 Gold Medals this olympics, which makes him the All-Time winningest Olympic Athlete (11 all-time Gold Medals).  Not only has he won the Gold every time . . . he does it in World-Record time!  It’s absolutely unbelievable.  And he’s not even finished yet!

So how is Michael Phelps a glimpse into the future God is leading us to?

Michael Phelps grew up in Towson, Maryland.  In fact, he grew up in the same Towson community Emily and I may focus on when we first move to the area.

He’s been at the University of Michigan for a while, but after the Olympics, Phelps said he will be returning to Baltimore.

FYI — Katie Hoff trains at the same aquatics club that Phelps grew up in.
