Thank You!

Emily and I are trying to personally thank everybody that has helped us, encouraged us, and fed us the past week of adjusting to being parents.  I’m sure we’ll wind up missing a “thank you” to somebody.  Please don’t take it personally.  We’ve just had so many people encourage us this week, it’s been incredible.

It’s times like this that I’m glad I’m part of a church like Journey Church.  I know things are going right when the Body of Christ bonds together to help each other through difficult times and times of adjustment.  (Not to mention our friends beyond Journey who helped us, too.)

I’m especially encouraged to know that some of the Growth Groups took us on as a “project” this past week.  Seeing our folks gel together, work together, and take care of our own is what Growth Groups are all about.  If you’re not a part of a Growth Group . . . I KNOW you are missing out!
