Back in the Swing?
Unfortunately, I have to admit, I’m back in the swing of things more that I should be. I’ve been saying for months that I need to blog more often . . . so the low number of blog posts this week is actually a demonstraction that I’m kinda back to normal. Not cool.
BUT, as Saturday winds down and I get a late start on Growth Group stuff (as usual) . . .
I have to say that Emily, Katie, and I had a wonderful day today.
Emily and I read a portion of the Bible together today, discussed it personally, and then discussed it in relation to our vision for Towson. It was really cool and gave us an opportunity to write down some ideas for meeting needs in the community. We also at breakfast together and prayed together. Definitely a good morning. It’s amazing how starting your weekend together by focussing on God really helped us love on each other and have more patience with each other and with Katie throughout the day. Spouses who pray together will stay together, if you’re praying for God to lead and speak to you (instead of “fix my spouse” prayers).
We also had a good day with Katie. Due to some changes suggested by the “lactation specialist,” Katie is eating better. Hopefully this will lead to all the little health “concerns” going away. It should, nothing really to worry about. Of course, eating better means more diapers, but that’s OK. That’s what babies do.
It’s pretty cool that Auburn managed to squeek out another (rather messy) win.
Good day.
Well, I’d better get on that Travel Guide . . .
