Be a Man

I’m still working through the Old Testament.  This morning, I started reading 1 Kings.

1 Kings 2:2b-3a says:

Be strong, and show yourself a man, and keep the charge of the Lord your God.

This was David’s final charge to Solomon as he passed on his kingship.  Being a REAL man means keeping after the things of God and the calling of God on your life.

THAT is awesome stuff!
