Here’s an awesome quote about the movie Wall-E from the writer/director, Andrew Stanton:
What’s really important about life that Wall-E learned was relationships . . . That we look each other in the eye, that we touch one another, that we have relationships that are direct. That’s the real most important thing. Everything else that benefits–whether it’s the planet, the environment–everything else benefits from that.
In an age of cybernetworking, email, and all sorts of impersonal forms of communication (including this blog) . . . How valuable would it be if we took to heart the value of a “direct relationship?” How much more genuine influence would we have?
