Daddy-Daughter morning

I get to enjoy a morning off from studying to let Emily get mommy-time . . . that means I have the joy of getting Daddy-Daughter time with Katie.  As I write, she’s laying on the floor having fun with a toy, winding down for a nap.  We’ve had a great morning.  I love being a daddy, and I love spending time with my daughter.   I love watching her grow.  I love watching her learn.  I love praying for her.  I love just holding and cuddling with her.  I pray that she always has an open, honest relationship with both her Mommy and Daddy.  I pray that our relationship helps keep her away from a lot of the hurts this world would throw at her.  Anyway, back to my time with my little girl!
